Xinhua News Agency, Beijing, April 7 (Reporter Liu Kaixiong) The State Administration of Foreign Exchange issued a notice on the 7th, launching six policy measures to optimize the foreign exchange business process, further promote cross-border trade facilitation, and improve the quality and efficiency of services to the real economy.

From the content of the notice, the six policies and measures mainly include three aspects: optimizing the registration and management of foreign trade enterprises, facilitating the settlement of foreign exchange receipts and payments of enterprises in cross-border trade, and cleaning up and integrating foreign exchange management regulations on trade in goods. For example, the handling method of the "List of enterprises that receive and receive foreign exchange in trade" shall be adjusted by the Administration of Foreign Exchange to be handled directly by banks; Simplify the trade receipts and payments procedures of enterprises in areas under special customs supervision; Relax the authority of banks to handle special refunds for trade in goods.
The notice will come into effect on June 1, 2024.
